Refreshing breeze at Ocean Products Tahiti.

2022 ended on a very positive note. Indeed, after months of reflection and work, we inaugurated our fish processing workshop, our new catering space, and the Lady Chris 10.

En septembre 2019, nous posions la première pierre de notre usine de mareyage… 3 ans plus tard, nous l’inaugurons, entourés des hautes autorités du Pays et de nos proches collaborateurs. This day marks a real turning point in the development ofOcean Products Tahiti. We now have access to our own unloading area, relieving congestion at the Fishing Port during seasonal production peaks.

In order to optimize the comfort and work of our employees (lifting equipment, rail systems), but above all to ensure optimal fish quality, we now have a total area of 2300 m2 spread across two levels, including our laboratory, cold storage rooms, and fish processing workshop. Fish enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy our fish market and our brand-new self-service catering space, “Comptoir de l’Océan.”

Crafted by NSI Nautisport Industrie in Taravao, our Lady Chris 10 also had the opportunity to be celebrated. Lighter, more fuel-efficient, more comfortable, and better equipped: Lady Chris 10 is ready to set sail for a “fresh” fishing expedition. We are especially proud to contribute to the development of the fishing sector through “sustainable and responsible fishing,” as recognized by the President of the Country.

It was on December 17th of last year that we celebrated all these blessings together. Let’s take a visual journey back to that magical and authentic ceremony.
