LAGOON FISH AND LOCAL CRUSTACEANS

With several arrivals by plane each week, Le COMPTOIR de L’OCÉAN offers
its customers a wide selection of lagoon fish, shellfish and seafood from our archipelagos.

Our chilled whole fish selection changes with the seasons and according to the catches of our partner fishermen.
With the rising of the Pleiades in November, “Matari’i i ni’a” in Tahitian, begins the season of abundance “Tau ‘auhune”. 

Nature is generous by providing fruits, vegetables but also reef and lagoon fish, a large part of which gather during this season.
In Rangiroa, the Ocean Products Tahiti company is well established and works in close collaboration with the Island’s fishermen to ensure our standards of processing and refrigeration are adhered to.

The freshness and traceability of the products is thus guaranteed when we bring these products from the outer-Islands to Tahiti.
